Fleato.com is a marketplace where you can buy and sell physical stuff and get paid in crypto. Finally, the stuff that has been collecting dust in your garage can find a new life, while earning you crypto as well (bitcoin, ethereum, usdc, you choose). Are you a seller in etsy or other platforms selling crypto-themed t-shirts, stickers, etc? You can now sell them to the crypto community in their home turf and get paid in crypto directly.

We are Crypto First

Fleato.com is the physical marketplace that is crypto first. On a traditional e-commerce platform, when a buyer pays with crypto, it is immediately converted into fiat, and that is the end of the story. Not here.

At fleato.com, when a buyer pays with crypto, it is held by an escrow smart contract, and upon delivery of products, it goes straight into your crypto wallet, you get to transfer, hodl, or swap (to any other coin). Want to encash? Sure, you can transfer it to an exchange of your choice (coinbase, crypto.com, etc) and withdraw in USD.

Fleato.com is not just an e-commerce site, it is a crypto-commerce platform. Here you are not just transactional, you are part of a community. Like a product? You can stake your crypto to vouch for it, and earn a portion of profits upon every sale. There is no sponsored placement of items on the site, the ordering is based on coins staked, length of staking, breadth, and depth of the staking wallets.

Are you an influencer recommending a product listed on fleato.com? Get paid automatically by a smart contract straight to your wallet for every sale you generate in a manner that is transparent to your followers.

Community

Transaction fees in fleato.com are paid with Fleato coin. Each transaction also unlocks a small portion of pre-minted fleato tokens that is awarded to the buyer and seller. In other words, the users own the token that powers the platform and are able to mint them in an eco-friendly way by simply using the platform. The tokens are also used to stake on other products listed on the platform as a recommendation and reward mechanism. Refer to our whitepaper for further discussion.

How does the Marketplace work?

Anyone can list their item for sale on the platform. It must be a physical good, and the seller should be able to prove delivery (typically via shipper tracking number). Listing is free, platform fee is charged on every sale, part of which is used to pay staking and referral rewards. [Refer to Platform Terms of Service for prohibited items and exclusions]

Fleato verifies all listings to ensure it meets the platform guidelines.

Buyers can pay with fleato coins, other crypto such as bitcoin, ethereum, matic, usdc, credit/debit card, or ACH (requires instant KYC verification).

Payments made with crypto are credited to the seller in crypto, and payments made with ACH are credited in FIAT to the seller. [Crypto Payouts more than $300 per week, and all FIAT payouts will require KYC verification]

Crypto Payments are held by a Smart Contract and are released once proof of delivery is presented to Fleato.com (or after the close of the return window if the seller supports product returns). Fleato coin rewards are credited to the buyer and seller’s crypto wallet for every transaction.

ACH Payments are held by Fleato.com and are transferred to sellers’ FIAT Wallet after proof of delivery (and upon successful KYC). These can be redeemed into their Bank Accounts.

Fleato and/or any other crypto that the seller receives will go to their crypto wallet and can be swapped to any other coin of their choice. The seller can bring their own wallet, or use Fleato Wallet (a non-custodial wallet that stores your keys in your own google drive).

Users can use their fleato balance to stake (review/recommend) on other products, redeem as part of future purchases, or exchange to other crypto such as bitcoin, ethereum, etc (via SushiSwap token pair)
